Abstract

This study aims to understand the general philosophical paradigm, with a particular focus on the positivist paradigm, and how its worldview shapes the foundational elements of research—specifically, the formulation of the research problem, the objectives, and the selection of scientific methods. A hermeneutic analysis was conducted on a selection of master's theses in sociology and anthropology submitted to the Department of Sociology. The analysis explores the relationship between philosophical paradigms and social research, concluding that there is a deep historical and academic connection between philosophical inquiry and the structure of research. Each philosophical paradigm carries fundamental assumptions concerning ontology, epistemology, axiology, logic, methodology, and rhetoric. The fieldwork confirms that the positivist paradigm, as one of the main paradigms in social science, significantly influences how research topics, problems, objectives, and methods are chosen. However, two main findings emerged: first, many researchers lacked awareness of the guiding philosophical paradigm in their work, and did not explicitly reference it; second, the hermeneutic analysis revealed that many theses did not adequately engage with key philosophical questions, resulting in a methodological inconsistency. In several cases, the blending of positivist principles with elements from other paradigms led to a departure from the core logic of the positivist approach.

ئامانج لەم توێژینەوەیە تێگەیشتنە لە پارادایمی فەلسەفی بەگشتی و پارادایمی پۆزەتیڤیستی بەتایبەتی، هەروەها ئەو تێگەیشتنانەی لە ڕوانگەی دنیابینی پۆزەتیڤیستییەوە بۆ سەرەتاکانی توێژینەوە (کێشە و ئامانجی توێژینەوە) و هەڵبژاردنی میتۆدی توێژینەوە دەکرێت. لە توێژینەوەکەدا شیکارییەکی هێرمێنۆتیکی بۆ ئەو ماستەرنامانە ئەنجامدراوە کە پێشکەش بە بەشی کۆمەڵناسی کراون، لەناویاندا توێژینەوە کۆمەڵناسییەکان و توێژینەوە ئەنسرۆپۆلۆجییەکان دەگرێتەوە. بە تێگەیشتن لە پەیوەندی نێوان ئەم دوو گۆڕاوە (پارادایمی فەلسەفی و تویژینەوەی کۆمەڵایەتی) بەو ئەنجامانە گەیشتووین کە پەیوەندییەکی مێژوویی و ئەکادیمی تایبەت بە پرسە فەلسەفییەکان پێکەوەیان دەبەستێتەوە. هەر پارادایمێکی فەلسەفی کۆمەڵێک گریمانەی فەلسەفی سەبارەت بە پرسەکانی (بوون، زانین، بەها، لۆجیک، میتۆد، ڕەوانبێژی) هەیە، هەروەها بە تێگەیشتن لە هەریەکێک لە پارادایمە فەلسەفییەکان لە کۆتاییدا و لە بەشی مەیدانی توێژینەوەکەدا پەیوەندی نێوان پارادایمی پۆزەتیڤیستی (کە یەکێکە لە پارادایمە سەرەکییەکانی زانستی کۆمەڵایەتی) لەگەڵ هەڵبژاردنی ناونیشان و دەستنیشانکردنی کێشە و ئامانج و میتۆدی توێژینەوە لە ماستەرنامەکانی بەشی کۆمەڵناسیدا هەڵسەنگێندراون و لە ئەنجامەکاندا دەرکەوتووە؛ یەکەم، توێژەران لە پرسی پارادایمی ڕێنوێنیکەری توێژینەوەکانیان تێنەگەشتوون و ئاماژەیان بۆ نەکردووە لە توێژینەوەکانیاندا. دووەم، لە ڕێگەی شیکارییە هێرمێنۆتییەکییەکانمانەوە لەوە تێگەیشتووین کە زۆرێک لە ماستەرنامەکان پرسەکانی بوونناسی و زانینناسی و بەهاناسی و لۆجیکییان لە توێژینەوەکانیاندا پەیڕەو نەکردووە و بە تێکەڵکردنیان لەگەڵ پارادایمەکانی دیکەدا توێژینەوەکانیان لە پەیڕەوکردنی ڕێنوێنییەکانی پارادایمی پۆزەتیڤیستی دوورخستۆتەوە.
