Abstract

The present article, titled “Linguistic Cognition and its Similarities and Differences”, poses the following primary question: To what extent can linguistic similarities and differences be analyzed based on the parts of speech and the theory of cognitive linguistics? How do similar linguistic forms manifest within the parts of speech, such as nouns and verbs? Is it possible for affixes (prefixes and suffixes), like nouns, to have prototypes? These are the key questions that this study seeks to answer. The data analysis reveals that linguistic similarities are accompanied by clear linguistic differences. Consequently, linguistic similarities and differences constitute a linguistic phenomenon, but they also contain specific linguistic details that this study aims to elucidate. According to the scientific framework of cognitive linguistics, in order to present scientific results, examples have been drawn from both contemporary language and historical language data. One notable finding is that the abbreviation of a noun using the suffix (-ە) transforms the structure of one noun into another, since nouns, unlike verbs, do not possess a clearly defined stem and root. Thus, the similarities and differences in linguistic forms differ in the content of nouns and verbs.

ناونیشانی (زانستی زمانی ناسینی(cognitive linguistic)‌و لێکچوون و جیاوازییە زمانیەکان تیایدا) بۆ ئەم لیكۆڵینەوە دانراوە، پرسیاری سەرەکی توێژینەوەکە، ئەوەیە کە دیاردەی لێکچوون‌و جیاوازییە زمانییەکانە کە لە زماندایدا هەیە، تا چی ڕادەیەک دەتوانرێت ئەم لێكچوون و جیاوازییە گشتاندن‌و لێکۆڵینەوەی بە پێی پولەئاخاوتنییەکانی زمان‌و تیۆری زانستی زمانی ناسینی تیایدا بکرێت، دووبارەبوونەی فۆڕمە لێکچووەکانی زمان لە پۆلەئاخاوتنە جیاوازەکانی وەک: ناوو کرداردا چۆن کاردەکات، ئایا دەتوانرێت لاگرەکان (پێشگروپاشگر) وەک ناوەکان شاوەچەیان (پرۆتۆتایپیان) دیاریبکرێت، ئەمانە گرنگرترین ئەو پرسیارانەن کە بۆ وەڵامدانەوەی لێکۆڵینەوە کراوە، شیکردندەوەیش لەسەر ئەوە کراوە، لەناو لێکچوونە زمانییەکانەوە، جیاوازییەکانیش بوونیان هەیە، لێرەوەیە جیاوازی‌و لێکچوونە زمانییەکان بە دیاردەیەکی زمانی دانراوە، بەڵام وردەکاری زمانیی تیایاندا هەڵگیراوە، هەوڵدراوە ئەو وردەکارییە بخرێتەڕوو، بە پێی تیۆری زانستی زمانی ناسینی لە ئێستای زمان‌و هەندێك کات لە مێژووی زمان نموونە وەرگیراوە، تا ئەنجامی زانستی بخرێتەبەردەست. یەکێك لە ئەنجامەکەکانیش بریتییە لە: بچووکردنەوەی ناو لە ڕێگەی (- ە) لە ناوێكەوە بۆ ناوێكی تر پێکهاتەی ناوەکە دەگۆڕێت، چونکە ناو وەک کردار خاوەنی ڕەگ‌و قەدی دیاریکراو نییە، لێرەیەوەیە لێكچوون‌و جیاوازییە زمانییەکان، لە ناوەڕۆكی ناوو کرداردا جیاوازیان هەیە.
