Abstract

This study examines the architectural adaptations of cultural buildings in the Garmian administration, which is characterized by a hot and semi-arid climate. Through the analysis of selected cultural structures, the primary aim of this research is to reveal how local inhabitants historically integrated climate-responsive architectural principles into the design and construction of their built environment. These principles were purposefully employed to maximize the utilization of natural energy sources, such as solar gain, ventilation, and thermal mass and to mitigate the adverse effects of extreme temperature fluctuations commonly experienced in the region. The findings demonstrate that cultural architectural practices, such as the incorporation of thick walls, open internal courtyards, seasonally designated living spaces (for example, separate rooms for winter and summer use), as well as the inclusion of architectural features such as balconies, porches, chimneys, sunshades, and backyards—played a central role in ensuring thermal comfort for inhabitants. Additionally, the use of locally sourced, natural construction materials contributed to the buildings’ overall environmental adaptability. Despite significant advancements in modern construction technologies, the study finds that many contemporary buildings in the Garmian administration area increasingly neglect these climate-responsive practices. As a result, current architectural trends often fail to address the environmental and climatic realities of the region. Accordingly, this study advocates for a critical re-evaluation and reintegration of cultural architectural strategies as foundational elements in the development of sustainable and climate-appropriate modern architecture in Garmian

دیزاینی ئاووهەوایی تەلارەكان هاوشێوەی دیزاینی تەلارسازی كەلەپورییە، خەڵكی هەر ناوچەیەك لە ڕێگەی ئەزموون و شارەزاییانەوە ڕێكارەكانی ئەم دیزاینەیان دۆزیوەتەوە، گرنگی ئەوەیە ماوەیەكی زیاتر حەوانەوە دابیندەكات و بەكابردنی ووزە كەمدەكاتەوە. ناسینی ڕێكار و ستراتیجی گونجاندنی تەلارە كەلەپورییەكان لەگەڵ ئاووهەوا گرنگی خۆی هەیە، لەلایەك بیرۆكەی كاریگەر و مایەی جێبەجێكردن دەخاتە پێش چاوی تەلارسازانی نوێ، لەلایەكی تر شارەزایی دانیشتوان دەردەخات لە چۆنێتی گونجاندنی تەلارەكانیان لەگەڵ ئاووهەوای گەرم و نیمچەوشكی گەرمیاندا.




سنوری ناوچەی توێژینەوە بریتیە لە ئیدارەی گەرمیان، تێیدا هەندێك لە نموونەی تەلارە كەلەپورییەكانی ناوچەی گەرمیان شرۆڤەكراوە، بە ئامانجی ئەوەی دەریبخەین، چۆن لە كۆندا دانیشتوان تەلارەكانیان لەگەڵ ئاووهەوای گەرم و نیمچەوشكی گەرمیاندا گونجاندووە، گرنگترین ئەو ڕێكارانە چین لە دیزاینی تەلارە كۆنەكانی گەرمیاندا ڕەچاوكراون بۆ ئەوەی خۆیان لە ئاڵنگارییە وەرزییەكان بپارێزن، یان ئەو كەرەستانە چین لە دروستكردنی تەلارە كەلەپورییەكان بەكاریان هێناوە. بە دیراسەی تەلارە كەلەپوریییەكانی هەر هەرێمێكی ئاووهەوایی ڕووندەبێتەوە تەلارە كەلەپورییەكان كتومت لەسەر بنەما ئاووهەواییەكان دیزاینكراون بۆ ئەوپەڕی سودوەرگرتن لە ووزە سروشتییەكان و بەرگری لە سەرما و گەرمای بێزاركەر. ئەم توێژینەوەیە یارمەتیمان دەدات هەندێك لە ڕێكارە كۆنەكانی تەلارسازی بناسینەوە، كە ئەمڕۆ فەرامۆش كراون تاكو لە تەلارە نوێیەكاندا ڕەچاویان بكەین، چون سەرەڕای پێشكەوتنەكان، تەلارسازی نوێ تەواو پێچەوانەی ئاووهەوای گەرمیان دروستدەكرێت. ئەم توێژینەوەیە پاڵپشتی پەرەپێدانی تەلارسازی نوێ لە ناوچەی گەرمیان دەكات، لەسەر بنەمای گونجاندنی دیزاینی تەلارە كەلەپورییەكان لە كۆندا. ئەنجامەكان دەریانخست تەلارە كەلەپورییەكان گرنگیان بە حەوشەی كراوەی بە دیوار حەساركراو، دیواری ئەستوور، ژوور بۆ زستان نشین و هاوین شین، باڵكۆن، بانیچە، سرداب، دیواری ئەستوور، خۆرپارێز، هەیوان و پشت هەیوان، تاقی گەورەی گومەزی هەیوان، میچی گومەزی، كوچەی تەسك و قەیسەری سەرداپۆشراو، بەهارەخەو، كڵاوڕۆشنە، كەرەستەی سروشتی داوە، بۆ سودوەرگرتن لە ووزە سروشتییەكان و خۆگونجاندن لەگەڵ ئاووهەوای گەرمیان.
