Abstract

This study seeks to analyze the narrative elements that contribute to highlighting Kurdish cultural awareness and shaping its features in the context of exile, diversity, and belonging. This research examines how the novel "Maqam al-Kurd" reshapes Kurdish identity in a multicultural context through three main themes, highlighting the interaction of the Kurdish self with music, language, and globalization
The research highlights the role of music, especially the Kurdish maqam, in shaping cultural awareness, as music appears as a living collective memory that expresses pain and calls upon exiled cultural roots. It is not satisfied with being an artistic background, but rather it turns into an inner voice that reshapes identity and gives it the energy of resistance, so music becomes a symbol of belonging in a world
Language is one of the most important markers of identity and the rooting of belonging. The novel reveals a hybrid linguistic and cultural identity composed of Kurdish, Arabic, and French, reflecting the reality of diaspora and multiple belongings. Language appears here not only as a means of communication, but also as a space of struggle and resistance, through which the characters reposition themselves within a fragmented world
The research discusses globalization, explaining how the novel seeks to re-represent the Kurd as an active subject who transcends stereotypes. Globalization appears as a dominant force, but the novel uses it to present an alternative narrative that highlights cultural richness and human diversity

Abstract [کوردی]

تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل العناصر السردية التي تُسهم في إبراز الوعي الثقافي الكُردي، وتشكيل ملامحه في سياق المنفى والتعدد والانتماء. يتناول هذا البحث، كيف تُعيد رواية (مقام الكُردْ) تشكيل الهوية الكُردية في سياق ثقافي متعدد عبر ثلاث موضوعات رئيسة، تُبرز تفاعل الذات الكُردية مع الموسيقى واللغة والعولمة. يُسلط البحث الضوء على دور الموسيقى، ولا سيما (مقام الكُردْ)، في تشكيل الوعي الثقافي، حيث تظهر الموسيقى كذاكرة جمعية حيَّة تعبر عن الألم، وتستدعي الجذور الثقافية المنفية، إنها لا تكتفي بأن تكون خلفية فنية، بل تتحول إلى صوت داخلي يُعيد تشكيل الهوية ويمنحها طاقة المقاومة، فتصبح الموسيقى رمزاً للانتماء في عالمٍ متشظٍ.
واللغة هي من أهم علامات الهوية، وتأصيل الانتماء، حيث تكشف الرواية عن هوية لغوية وثقافية هجينة تتكون من تداخل الكُردية، والعربية، والفرنسية، وهو ما يعكس واقع الشتات والانتماء المتعدد، تظهر اللغة هنا ليس فقط كوسيلة للتواصل، بل كمساحة صراع ومقاومة، تُعيد من خلالها الشخصيات تموضعها داخل عالم مفكك. ويناقش البحث العولمة، موضحاً كيف تسعى الرواية إلى إعادة تمثيل الكُردي بوصفه ذاتاً فاعلة تتجاوز الصور النمطية. تتجلى العولمة كقوة مهيمنة، لكن الرواية تستثمرها لتقديم سردية بديلة تُبرز الغنى الثقافي والتنوع الانساني.
