Abstract
Dialogue, as a form of communication, plays a vital role in everyday human life, supporting the survival and continuity of relationships. It is also a significant literary device, adding authenticity and a sense of reality to literary works.
Dialogue plays a crucial role in the construction of narrative texts, especially in novels, where it serves as a powerful tool for character development. Through dialogue, authors reveal a character’s physical appearance, psychological state, and social, political, intellectual, and religious views. This study analyzes the use and types of dialogue in Bakhtiar Ali’s novel Ship of Angels, with the aim of identifying how different forms of dialogue contribute to character portrayal and thematic depth, this is because dialogue is one of The main and foundational columns and cores of the novel. The research findings show that the author effectively employs all three major types of dialogue—direct, indirect, and silent—to convey complex messages and elevate the literary quality of the narrative.

گفتوگۆ وەک پرۆسەیەکی پەیوەندی کردن وەک چۆن ڕۆڵێکی گرنگ لە ژیانی ڕۆژانەی مرۆڤدا دەبینێت و دەبێتە هۆی مانەوە و بەردەوامی دان بە پەیوەندییەکان، لە هەمان کاتیشدا ڕەگەزێکی گرنگی بونیادنانی دەقی ئەدەبییە، جگە لەوەی گفتوگۆ واقعیەتێک بە بەرهەمی ئەدەبی دەبەخشێت هۆکارێکیشە بۆ ئەوەی کەسایەتییەکان واقعی نیشان بدات. لەبەر ئەوەی هونەری گفتوگۆ ڕۆڵێکی گرنگی لە بنیاتنانی دەقی گێڕانه‌وه‌به‌ندیدا هه‌یه، بەتایبەتى له ده‌قی ڕۆماندا، به‌وپێیه‌ی كه به‌شداریی له ناساندنی كاره‌كته‌ردا ده‌كات له‌ڕووی ده‌رخستنی تایبەتمەندییە جەستەیی، دەروونی و هه‌روه‌ها ڕەفتار و بارى کۆمەڵایەتیيان نیشان دەدات. بە واتایەكی دیكە نووسەر لە ڕێی دیالۆگەوە دەتوانێت سەرجەم بارە دەروونیی و هەڵوێستی کۆمەڵایەتی و سیاسی و فیکری و ئایینی کارەکتەرمان پێ بناسێنێت. لەم توێژینەوەیەدا هەوڵدراوە جۆرەكانی گفتوگۆ لە ڕۆمانی كەشتيی فریشتەكانی بەختیار عەلیدا لێكبدرێتەوە و جۆری گفتوگۆی كارەكتەرەكان دەستنیشان بكرێن، چونکە گفتوگۆ یەکێکە لە کۆڵەکە سەرەکی و بنچینەییەکانی چنینی ڕووداوەکان لە ڕۆماندا.ئەنجامی توێژینەوەكە دەری دەخات، نووسەر لەپێناو بەرهەمهێنانی دەقێكی ئەدەبیی بەرزدا، سود لە هەرسێ جۆرەكەی گفتوگۆ (ڕاستەوخۆ، ناڕاستەوخۆ، بێدەنگ) وەردەگرێت، تا لەو ڕێگەوە پەیامی خۆی بە خوێنەر بگەیەنێت.
