Abstract
This research is entitled(the functions of description in sherko bekas's The dairy of a kerkuki bicycle)is an attempt to reveal the significant of the description in the experience of some parts of the poet's poems. Descriptive approach Has a particular position especially in poems purpose of creating standards and new image which show a different reality in the poet's point of view.
Sherko bekas,who is one of the leading dotes of the contemporary Kurdish literate in his work he pursed and valued this art and its function,in such a way that those description were used by him has more than one function. This is related to the poet's ability of dealing with language parts thus he was able to give beauty and an attractive content to his work through those description which have different functions in the text,to attract the reader to enjoy the text and it's beauty.this research is a discussion of a thesis in which the disciplines of the constructivism method were focused on to achieved its objectives the research consisted of two main parts in which the concept ,definition of description and analysis of the functions description were highlight in the text(the dairy of a kerkuki bicycle)one of the crucial conclusions which the research has achieved is that in this text more than on function are noticed such as(beauty and decoration,interpretation and analysis,narrative and graphic)Among these functions the narrative on has controlled many parts in the text and the poet has paid more attention to it.

ئه‌م توێژینه‌وه‌یه كه به ناونیشانى: ئه‌ركه‌كانى وه‌سف له دەقی واڵای (یاده‌وه‌رى پاسكیلێكى كه‌ركوكى)ى (شێركۆ بێكه‌س) دایە، هه‌وڵێكه بۆ ده‌رخستنى گرنگى ئه‌ركه‌كانى وه‌سف له ئەزموونی بەشێك لە هۆنراوەكانی شاعیردا. وه‌سف وه‌ك بنیادێكی هونه‌رى له‌ناو ڕە‌گه‌زه‌كانى گێڕانه‌وه‌ى ئه‌ده‌بیدا پێگه‌یه‌كى تایبه‌تى داگیركردووه، به تایبه‌تیش له نێو فەزای شیعردا، كە به مه‌رجێكى پێویست داده‌نرێت بۆ داهێنانى شێوازى شیعريى تایبه‌ت به شاعیر، ئه‌مه‌ش له پێناو دروستكردنى پێوه‌ر و وێنه‌ى نوێ كه واقیعێكى جیاواز له دیدگاى شاعیر ده‌ربخات. (شێركۆ بێكه‌س) كه یه‌كێكه له ڕابەرانی شاعیره هاوچه‌رخه‌كانى نێو ئه‌ده‌بى كوردى، له‌م بەرهەمەیدا بایه‌خ و بەهای تایبەت به‌م هونه‌ره و ئه‌ركه‌كانى داوه، بەجۆرێك ئه‌و وه‌سفانه‌ى كه به‌كاریهێناون هه‌ڵگرى زیاتر له ئه‌ركێكن، ئه‌مه‌ش په‌یوه‌ندى به توانا و لێهاتووى شاعیره‌وه هه‌یه له چۆنێتى مامەڵەكردن له‌گه‌ڵ كه‌ره‌سته‌كانى زماندا، به‌م هۆیه‌وه توانیویه‌تى له ڕێگه‌ى ئه‌و وه‌سفانه‌ى كه ئه‌ركى جیاوازیان له ده‌قه‌كه‌دا بینیوه، جوانى و ناوه‌رۆكێكى سرنجڕاكێش به بەرهەمەكەی ببه‌خشێت و، وا لە خوێنه‌ر بكات چێژ له‌ده‌ق و جوانییه‌كانى ببینێت. توێژینەوەكە سه‌رباسێكى ماستەر نامەیە و تێیدا بۆ گەیشتن بە ئامانجەكانی پشت بە بنەماكانی میتۆدی بنیادگه‌رى بەستراوە. توێژینەوەكە لە دوو بەشی سەرەكی پێكدێت، كە تێیدا تیشك خراوەتە سەر چەمك و پێناسەی وەسف و شیكردنەوە و ڕاڤەكردنی ئەركەكانی وەسف لە چوارچێوەی دەقی واڵای(یاده‌وه‌رى پاسكیلێكى كه‌ركوكى). یەكێك لە گرنگترین ئەو ئەنجامانەی توێژینەكە بەدەستی هێناوە، ئەوەیە له نێو ئه‌م ده‌قه‌دا زیاتر له ئه‌ركێك ده‌بینرێت، وه‌كو ئه‌ركى: (جوانكارى و ڕازاندنه‌وه، ڕاڤه‌یى و لێكدانه‌وه، گێڕانه‌وه‌یى و وێنایى) له نێو ئه‌م ئه‌ركانەشدا، ئەركی گێڕانه‌وه‌یى پانتاییه‌كى فراوانى له نێو ده‌قه‌كه‌دا داگیركردووه و شاعیر گرنگییه‌كى زیاتری پێيداوه.
