Abstract
This study examines the duality of reality and dream in the poetry of the Kirkuk Group, considering it as a key approach to understanding the dialectical relationship between literature and society in modern Arabic poetry. The research is based on the assumption that poetry does not merely reflect reality in a direct or mimetic manner, but rather reconstructs it through an intellectual and aesthetic vision in which the dream functions as a tool of critique, transcendence, and future projection. On the theoretical level, the study defines the concepts of reality and dream, clarifies their literary implications, and explores the nature of the relationship between poetic texts and their social and historical contexts, with particular attention to socialist realism as a significant ideological and artistic framework influencing the Kirkuk poets’ experience.
On the applied level, the research analyzes selected poetic texts by members of the Kirkuk Group, clearly revealing the presence of social and political reality—especially human suffering and the struggles of marginalized classes—alongside the dream as a future-oriented vision expressing rejection, rebellion, and the pursuit of change. The study concludes that the Kirkuk Group represents a poetic model that successfully integrates ideological commitment with aesthetic construction, transforming reality into a critical poetic substance and the dream into an open human horizon of hope and liberation.

يتناول هذا البحث ثنائية الواقع والحلم في شعر جماعة كركوك، بوصفها مدخلاً لفهم العلاقة الجدلية بين الأدب والمجتمع في الشعر العربي الحديث. وينطلق من فرضية مفادها أن الشعر لا يعكس الواقع انعكاسًا مباشرًا، بل يعيد إنتاجه وفق رؤية فكرية وجمالية تتوسل الحلم أداةً للنقد والتجاوز والاستشراف. وقد سعى البحث، في جانبه النظري، إلى تحديد مفهومي الواقع والحلم، وبيان دلالاتهما في الأدب، والكشف عن طبيعة العلاقة التي تربط النص الشعري بسياقه الاجتماعي والتاريخي، مع التوقف عند مفهوم الواقعية الاشتراكية بوصفها إطارًا فكريًا وجماليًا مؤثرًا في تجربة شعراء الجماعة.
أما في جانبه التطبيقي، فقد اعتمد البحث على تحليل نماذج شعرية مختارة لشعراء جماعة كركوك، أظهرت بوضوح حضور الواقع الاجتماعي والسياسي، ولا سيما معاناة الإنسان والطبقات المهمشة، إلى جانب حضور الحلم بوصفه رؤية مستقبلية تعبر عن الرفض والتمرد والسعي إلى التغيير. وخلص البحث إلى أن تجربة جماعة كركوك تمثل نموذجًا شعريًا جمع بين الالتزام الفكري والبناء الجمالي، حيث تحوّل الواقع إلى مادة شعرية نقدية، والحلم إلى أفق إنساني مفتوح على الأمل والتحرر.
